Close applications
Applications left running in the background continue to use memory and battery power.
To optimize the performance of the BlackBerry smartphone, you should close applications when finished with them.
Also, if there is not enough memory or the battery is low, a third-party application might not function as expected.
To view all the currently open applications, press ALT + Escape key (this is similar to using ALT + Tab on a computer).
